Photography in winter weather is an opportunity to build character. My photography skills and my endurance for being outside in cold weather are put to the test. I last as long as my fingers are able to press the shutter and my viewfinder doesn’t get too frosted up with my breath and nose drippings. Harsh light, dark shadows, and white new fallen snow make for high contrast, high key and minimalist images.
